Christopher Tandy is from Wales in the U.K, and graduated from Trinity Laban, London in 2004 with a BA (first class honours) in Dance Theatre. In his early career he danced for the National Dance Company of Wales under the direction of Ann Sholem, and for Dansgroep Amsterdam under the direction of Itzik Galili and Krisztina De Chatel. During this period he performed in creations by a.o. Galili, De Chatel, Stephen Shropshire, White Horse Collective, Stijn Celis and Stephen Petronio.

Christopher now works as a freelance dancer and has recently worked with choreographers including Iván Peréz, Anouk Van Dijk, Itamar Serussi, Mark Bruce Company, Cecilia Moisio, Mor Shani, as well as with Michael Parmenter in New Zealand, where he was nominated for best male dancer in New Zealand’s Tempo Awards.
