Dance and architecture meet in this unique performance, in collaboration with interdisciplinary artist Gosse de Kort.

Premiere: October 15th & 16th 2021, Korzo Theater Den Haag, NL

The movement language of choreographer Amos Ben-Tal and the dancers of OFFprojects interact with a mesmerizing kinetic installation by Gosse de Kort, an acclaimed Dutch interdisciplinary artist coming with a background in architecture.
In Interval the four dancers have to navigate their relationships and intuitions in a constantly transforming architectonic landscape. The performers and the space fluctuate between symbiosis and confrontation, order and chaos.
How do we balance our desire for freedom of movement and our need for empathy in a shared space?

Interval can be experienced as both a performance and/or a standalone installation. The work is presented in theaters, as well as museums and public spaces.

Accompanying Interval is an introduction talk with Katija Truijen about the relationship between dance and architecture. Check the details on the website of the theater you want to visit.
